Use the pair of Male and Female MC4 Caps to cover and protect unused connectors on the YC600Y and QS1 microinverters. APsystems recommends using a pair of these caps to prevent water and dust from damaging the unused connector or the inverter. They come in pairs, the male cap is to protect MC4 female connectors and the female cap to protect MC4 male connectors. The caps are interchangeable between the YC600Y and QS1 inverters.
