PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Air-cooled ESS (Energy Storage System) adopts an ALL IN ONE design
concept. A single cluster of batteries occupy the cabinet, with integration
that combines an LFP battery system, air conditioning system, fire
suppression system, monitoring system and more into a single unit.
The single cabinet is 125kW/275kWh with an AC voltage of 480V. The AC
connection method is three-phase three-wire. The DC side voltage is 1200V,
with a nominal voltage of 985.6V and operating voltage range of 770V to
1124.2V. The system uses a 280Ah LFP aluminum shell battery, consisting of
one PCS, one air conditioning unit, fourteen battery packs (seven battery
packs in string A & seven battery packs in string B), one control box and an
inter-cluster wiring harness. Each battery pack contains two 1P11S modules.
FEATURES
• The energy storage system is is comprised of five parallel storage banks. The master control system controls
the entire system. The master control cabinet is level “A” while the other four are level “B”.
• The PCS has an efficient three-level design, with a maximum efficiency of higher than 99%.
• The temperature control system includes a fan and air conditioner. Each fan is independently controled by
its BMS to maximize system efficiency.
• The main over current protection function protects the system at each level.
• The ESS incorporates a system-level fire suppression design, detecting both smoke and temperature
increases. It’s also equipped with anti-explosion and exhaust systems, autonomously controlling the
concentration of combustible gas in the cabinet.
• Control protocols are handled by the BAU system that can transmit data to the customer’s platform through
the MQTT protocol, allowing the customer remote data monitoring of the equipment.
