Midnite Solar Surge Protection Device SPD115

The MidNite SPD is a great replacement for Delta arrestors that have been the mainstay of the industry for many years. A very interesting comparison between the MidNite arrestor and other arrestors will be forthcoming once the product is listed. This comparison should prove to be a real eye opener. The UL standards have changed and the old standbys will soon no longer be legal to install. The MidNite surge protectors are designed to clamp surge voltage to safe levels for sensitive electronics. Other arrestors do not even begin to clamp surge voltages until 7000 or 8000 volts. What are they protecting… Not much! Be aware that numerous arrestors are about to flood the market. They for the most part posses 1/8 the strength of the MidNite arrestors and have no visible indication of performance. Most of these new arrestors require din rail mounting where they WILL blow up and will then be out of sight while they are protecting nothing. Where as we, on the other hand, do not have these issues.
